without the sources being present. That being said, I don't think that
it is required to build the whole OSG either. You can try to get the
source of the Debian package with

apt-get source openscenegraph

then perform the required CityGML changes. Configure with CMake, and
then, in the build directory, type make and press <TAB> twice. You'll be
presented the targets of the makefile. Choose the one for your plugin,
so it'll only build the neccesary libraries for it to work. Press enter
and compile.
