Package: monav
Version: 0.3-4
Followup-For: Bug #632650

same issue with kde4.6

installed monav, started from shell w/o any map and got
GpsdPositionInfoSource
failed to load map information
displayError Error: "Connection refused"

X did not respond anymore, although the mouse pointer still did move and
i was able to switch to vt1 -- where i was greetd with a very fast and
uniterruptable stream of
l2cap_recv_acldata ...
whioch apprently was not as such caused by monav but greatly enhanced in
severity by monav's reckless usage of resources, making the computer
basically almost unusable.
after switching back and forth between vt1 and vt7 finally the kill
cursor (after an much earlier ctrl+alt+esc) was visible and i was able
to kill monav.

severity is clearly above normal.
