[pkg-otr-team] commit messages and debian/changelog entries

Hi,

how shall we handle commit messages and debian/changelog entries?

I don't mind either workflow, I would just like to settle on a standardized
one.

For the irssi-plugin-otr backport I've simply not added a debian/changelog
entry for 10a61cd ("add myself to uploaders.") as I wanted to merge that
commit into debian/1.0.0-1 to create the wheezy-backport (which would then
requiere me editing debian/changelog anyway...)

But I could have started 1.0.0-2 UNRELEASED instead too.... and I think I
usually prefer to do this and have debian/changelog up to date.

What do you think + prefer?

cheers,
	Holger
