[Pkg-pagekite-devel] Status of pagekite.py packaging efforts

Hi!

I've done a lot of refactoring and reorganizing of PageKite's codebase since
the last e-mail. Much has changed...

The code has forked into two projects, one is an enhanced version of the
Socksipy module which I am in the progress of getting integrated back
upstream (to the socksipy-branch project). The other is PageKite proper,
which has been refactored into more 'standard' python library and helper
scripts, using setuptools for basic installation.

I've built debian packages for both, using CDBS, which I would like feedback
on. I've even got my own repo now... ;-)

All the code is in my own Github at the moment, as I've been too busy
hacking to go read how to upload things to Alioth.

    https://github.com/pagekite/PyPagekite/
    https://github.com/pagekite/PySocksipyChain/

Building is still a bit weird, some of the scripts assume that both projects
are checked out in the same folder, using a structure like so:

    work-dir/
        PyPageKite/
        PySocksipyChain/
