Sorry, the patch in pdns should not have been applied in the first
place, it happily includes .dpkg-foo and tilde files. I am not willing
to break pdnssec in the same way.

I guess that upstream would accept a patch that would apply to all
pdns programs, including the recursor, and would only include files
that match ^[a-zA-Z0-9_-]+$. Upstream will eventually come up with a
patch like that, but if Debian would submit such a patch, that would
significantly speed up things.

Once upstream has accepted this patch, I would check with the Debian
release team whether it would be acceptable for wheezy to apply the
patch.
