[Pkg-pdns-maintainers] Bug#697355: D.ROOT changes its IPv4

Package: pdns-recursor
Severity: normal
Version: 3.3-3

Hello,

as probably you have already heard[1][2], D-root changed it's IPv4 on
3/1/2013. Old IPv4 will continue to work for "at least six months".

In pdns-recursor, if a hints file isn't used, then the built-in root
servers are used (in reczones.cc:33-35, ip 128.8.10.90)

So, what's the policy on that update? Should a new patched package be
uploaded, or people should provide a hints file from now on (until the
next upstream version)?

Thanks in advance,
Costas Drogos
