Thanks for this bug report. I have taken this as motivation to convert
debian/copyright to DEP-5. Here is the preliminary version:

It would be great if someone more familiar with this stuff could
proofread the file. There is still an issue with the original
debian/copyright containing an OpenSSL exception which the PowerDNS
copyright notices to not have any more. I am in touch with upstream
about this.
