It does not persist without the apc module, but the segmentation faults
only occur under high load which we are not able to reach without apc,
so we cannot prove that apc is responsible for the faults. On the other
hand we can reproduce the faults with apc 3.0.10. We are currently
testing eaccelerator as replacement.

Cheers,
  Jörg
