fyi, i have already brought the subject on the pkg-php and
webapps-common mailing lists a few weeks prior to this, and the general
consensus was that after etch was out the door we would start a
transition process for removing php4 from lenny.
if no one gets a start on things before then, i'll start the planning
some time next week.
