the zend optimizer is a proprietary closed-source application, so no,
there are not packages.  even worse, we won't even promise that it will
work at all with the debian packages, since it requires a certain level
of binary-compatibility that we might change in order to make other
features available to our users.   if it works, great... but if it
doesn't... well let's just say it's not a high priority for us.

php4 from stable won't work in unstable afaik, at least for apache2,
plus you have the whole tree of dependencies from stable which might not
be satisfiable in unstable.

so you should consider:

- using an alternative, open-source optimiser
- upgrading Zend engine as php.net recommends
- using php.net binaries (or home-rolled) for php.
