I only dropped the patch in debian/patches and modified debian/patches/series
and debian/changelog accordingly.

Pretty much everything is different between those two. The files under the .pc
directory are mentioned in my .diff.gz but I have no idea where they came from
and what they are for. (Are they supposed to be there anyway?) I’ll attach the
.diff.gz just in case.
