Hi Mark!

Here are some remarks:
 + keep only one changelog entry (with only "Initial release").
 + add a space between >= and 5.2.0-8 in debian/control
 + remove the fact that debian/rules is a sample
 + remove  debian/$(package)/usr/share/php/data since this  directory is
   empty if you remove debian/$(package)/usr/share/php/data/MDB2

Moreover,  I  don't  know  if  having  debian/svn-deblayout  is  a  good
practice. In doubt, I suppose you can keep it.

Those  remarks  apply  for  both  packages. Do  you  intend  to  package
postgresql and sqlite (or more)?
