I have commited a few changes:
 - updated to 3.8.0 standards-version
 - empty the changelog
 - removing /usr/share/php/data (which was empty)
 - removing the ";" at the end of some lines in debian/rules

If you agree with those changes, I will upload the two packages.

Do you have plan to  prepare packages for other drivers? php-db supports
postgresql and sqlite as well.
