there were a few problems with the repo after all:

- some of the tags/imports weren't correct compared to the subversion tag.
- some of the 'dfsg' versions still included the problematic code
- missing imports for etch/lenny

so today i spent a few hours rebasing/grafting/swearing/etc and i've put
together an updated repo. note this is heavily rebased from mark's repo,
so the hashes aren't compatible after 5.2.0 or so.

i've gotten a bit more thorough with the checking, and scripted something
together that checked against the original svn tags, and also ensures that
no non-debian-dir files show up in the upstream->debian diffs. the only
failure that the script finds is that there are some intermediate tags
on the debian-lenny branch which don't exist... for some reason i just
couldn't get them merged and sense they're obsolete i figure we can let
that slip.

the only thing left to check before i'm completely satisfied on my end is
that all the upstream tags are correct wrt the orig.tar.gz's. however,
i'd really appreciate it if some others could take a look at the repo and
just look for anything that seems wrong/odd. i think i'll take a break
from this a bit before i compare the tar.gz's, but would like to push this
into place sometime over the weekend, so we can kiss svn goodbye.
