Ok, I'll start building (it will take some hours on my poor 1.6 atom, so it 
will leave enough time for others to reply :)

Only the pear and sysconfdir changes seem to be relevant enough, the others 
will be available in the next release of 5.3 upstream. The jpg crash fix 
should probably be included in stable upload.
