Hi everyone,

Some notes as to what seems we still need to do before we slow down
the current work on PHP:

* Send "bits from" email to d-d-a.
I can write a draft later today and send it for review to the ML if
nobody steps up :)

* Continue hunting down bugs in/with the testsuite
Some have already been fixed upstream and the fixes just need to be
cherry-picked.

* Fix a couple of bugs reported on the BTS
I think we could make this easier if we start using user tags to mark
bugs that we surely need to fix before we release. Usually there are a
couple of bugs I want to fix on the next upload but tend to forget
about them when actually preparing the release.

* Update to 5.3.2

There are multiple bug fixes and enhancements in this version.

* Update suhosin to 0.9.9.1 (requires 5.3.2 atm)

Stefan has just released a new version of Suhosin fixing the page size
issue (using mmap and sysconf, etc) with pointer obfuscation, which
addresses the pointer overwrite concern.

* Finally fix the FastCGI bug
This one really deserves to be mentioned on its own item. It's
probably too late to think about shipping FPM because even if upstream
includes it in 5.3.3 its stability doesn't seem to be good enough.
Note: I haven't really checked if it still occurs with 5.3.x, but is
very likely it does. If anyone can help me reproduce it it would be of
great help.

* Finish and add the extensions manager.

* Anything else?

Sean, I assume you already saw the messages related to db4 in the php
br and oracle's forum.

Comments?

Cheers,
