Yup, that's what I'm doing based on your advice and seeing that method in
other Debian packaging.

I was just contrasting the difference between having pear(1) do the
installation during the package build process (and leaving the .reg file it
generates in the binary package) versus the instruction in the PHP Policy
Draft (which is perhaps old or still being discussed) to register/unregister
the module using calls to pear in the postinst/postrm.

I wasn't sure originally which way was best, and your previous suggestion
was helpful, to keep the .reg that pear generates during the package build.
