[php-maint] Bug#743842: php5: uninstallable due to dependency loops

Source: php5
Version: 5.5.11+dfsg-1
Severity: serious

https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=php-json

Dependency installability problem for [43]php-json on armel, hurd-i386, i386, kfreebsd-i386, mipsel,
powerpc and sparc:

php-json build-depends on:
- php5-cli (>= 5.5.0~rc1+dfsg-1~)
php5-cli depends on:
- php5-common (= 5.5.11+dfsg-1)
php5-common depends on:
- php5-json
php5-json depends on missing:
- phpapi-20121212

The new php5 upload changed the phpapi, which means
it’s now uninstallable because it Depends php5-json
which cannot be recompiled against the new php, due
to that loop.

Please remove the Depends: php5-json from php itself.
PHP should not depend on any of its extensions; people
can rather do that themselves. (Actually, this is an
issue in every version that had this Depends.)

bye,
