[php-maint] Differences between PHP 5.3.3-7+squeeze18 and original PHP packages, e.g. 5.3.4 and so on...

I have two questions concerning the packaging of PHP-(CLI-)packages.


In Debian Squeeze the current CLI-PHP-package is

PHP 5.3.3-7+squeeze18 with Suhosin-Patch (cli)


Q1:
Am I right with the assumption that this is the original 
PHP-(CLI-)package in version 5.3.3,
complemented by the Debian-package-maintainers with security updates 
and partial backports
of changes from follow-up-versions of the original PHP(-CLI-)packages?


If a software requires e.g. PHP-CLI 5.3.4 it is of interest what the 
exact differences are between let's say

PHP 5.3.3-7+squeeze18 with Suhosin-Patch (cli)
and
PHP(-CLI) 5.3.4 (original package)


Q2:
Where can this information (maybe as a list of differences between the 
Debian-package and the original-package) be obtained?
