Yes, there are plenty, especially in the phpunit and symfony
(build-)dependency side, they are mostly useful to run tests at build
time. I already looked at build-profiles, that would fit our needs
nicely, but since they are not supported on the buildd side, and that
binNMU of arch:all are not possible either yet, why should we bother now?

I don’t really understand the issue, since manual build will be needed
anyway with our current infrastructure, using DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nocheck
at first if necessary. Is there any tool that can actually take
advantage of the build-profile syntax in order to allow a bit less
manual process?
