[php-maint] Plans for stretch - php5 vs php5.6?

Hi,

I've seen talk about removing php5, and having PHP 5 coinstallable with 7.0.

Currently src:php5 seems to already support coinstallability with 7.0. At the same time, src:php5.6 is actively maintained in git in tandem with 7.0.

I'd like to know please, what are the plans? Which, if any, flavor of PHP 5 will be in stretch?
