[php-maint] Contributing

Hi everyone, I'd love to contribute to the development of the PHP
interpreter. I myself am a PHP developer by trade though I must admit that
I'm not very familiar with how it works behind the scenes. I figure that
contributing to it is a good way to get started right? Any suggestions on
where to begin?
