I have some time to update php-geoip to PHP 7.0
(https://github.com/Zakay/geoip and
https://github.com/remicollet/remirepo/blob/master/php/pecl/php-pecl-geoip/geoip-php7.patch).

Let me know if you want to do the update yourself.

Also what do you think should happen with php-memcache?  php-memcached
is superior, but people clearly still use php-memcache in legacy code.
There's an unofficial branch with PHP 7 support here:
https://github.com/websupport-sk/pecl-memcache, but I am more inclined
to just letting php-memcache die in peace.
