[Pkg-postgresql-private] #201165

Hi!

Now I tried about an hour to reproduce #201165 (preinst returns exit
status 20), which is Alioth #300276. Although the message "Could not
save old binaries" still appears sometimes, the preinst script never
failed. In addition, saving the "unknown" binaries (when no db exists,
but /usr/lib/postgresql/bin exists) really saves the binaries from the
very version I'm currently installing since libpq3 and p-client is
installed before postgresql; so saving binaries without having an old
db seems not very sensible to me anyway. Any comments to this?

However, with the new parallel infrastructure this issue seems to be
obsolete anyway, so I stop working on it now.

Thanks and have a nice weekend!

Martin
