Hi!

As you already saw, I created a sarge branch from the devel branch and
backported only the important fixes from 7.4.8-2 (from Debian and
upstream). Oliver, Stephen, unfortunately I forgot to set up commit
notifications for this branch, so please check out
postgresql--sarge--1 manually if you are interested in the changes.

(BTW, if anybody else is interested in commit notifications, just tell
me.)

Unfortunately 7.4.8-2 was rejected for Sarge by the Debian Release
team, so the backport was necessary. Therefore I sealed the --devel--1
branch, there's no point in committing into it any more.

branch any more. Critical and security updates for Sarge should be
made in the postgresql--sarge--1 branch, all other development now
happens on the new architecture in postgresql--devel--{7.4,8.0} and
