[Pkg-postgresql-public] Postgresql refuse TCP/IP connections

Hi *,

I have a running PostgreSQL 7.4 (own backport) under Woody which
works since years...

Now, my Server has three Debian-Installations (rescue, production 1
and production 2) and I had replaced "production 2" with Sarge.

All is working fine except TCP/IP connections...

I get the know error:

----8<--------------------------------------------------------------
[michelle.konzack at michelle1.private:~/] psql --host samba3.private.t
dnet.net --list
psql: FATAL: no pg_hba.conf entry for host "192.168.0.71", user "mi
chelle.konzack", database "template1", SSL off
----8<--------------------------------------------------------------

Arghhhh...
My "pg_hba.conf" is setup and it is the same as under Woody!

----8<--------------------------------------------------------------
local all postgres ident sameuser

host all all 127.0.0.1 255.255.255.255 md5

host all all 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 reject

hostssl all all 192.168.0.64/192 md5

hostssl all all 192.168.0.71 255.255.255.192 md5
hostssl all all 192.168.0.69 255.255.255.192 md5
----8<--------------------------------------------------------------

and in my postgresql.conf I have set

        tcpip_socket = true

So what is wrong here?

Oh yes, I have had allready problems while upgrading because on my
Devel-Station the location is /PostgreSQL and not /var/lib/postgres
and on my FileServer it is on /home/postgres.

I am using Debian since Slink, but now since Sarge, only 70% of my
network is working correctly... realy strange with Sarge!

And last not least:

+-------------------------------------------------------------------

So all is theoreticaly working fine...

Oh before I forget:

I am using pam-pgsql and libnss-pgsql1, which mean, that I can not
more login on ANY Workstations, Servers or Routers, if my PostgreSQL
7.4.7 under Sarge doest not more allow TCP/IP connections.

It was a realy great dist-upgrade!

Greetings
    Michelle
