Since i have gotten a bunch of 1 TByte Hitachi drives it was possibel
to run both parallel. I had concerns, since my PostgreSQL consumes
currently 680 GByte of diskspace and it is not easy to dump this
ammount of Data arround...

Yeah.. I have had problems with this, since I have put my 6 PostgreSQL
homes into /home/postgres-<flav> because I run 6 PostgreSQL Servers
on 6 different ports.
Only the first ${HOME} was reconized right.

I home, since Etch is NOW THE IRST RELEASE which has broken my network.
(Upgraded from Slink to Potato, Woody and Sarge and beginning with
PostgreSQL 6.something)
