[Pkg-postgresql-public] postgresql backport?

Well, I am not too thrilled about using a third party package in my
servers.. I guess it is better than bringing testing packages into it,
but still not ideal. Is there a big blocking problem to backport it? I
could volunteer to do it, if it does not require much knowledge of the
internals of pgsql.
