Are you aware that there already is a backport to wheezy served by pgapt
[0] ?

I generally recommend that to Postgres users, as it supports multiple
major versions - independent of their status in testing.

But I'm not opposing a wheezy backport of postgis, either. It's known
working on wheezy, so feel free...
