Bug#600401: please merge the package into python-debian

Package: python-popcon
Severity: important

Dear Bastian,
thanks a lot for python-popcon, it's a pretty neat hack!

However, I've noticed that it consists of just 56 lines of Python code. Do we
really need a separate binary package just for it? How about contributing a
"popcon" module to the python-debian package, which is already a de facto
Python standard library for programming about Debian data?

Please consider this,
Cheers.
