[Pkg-qof-maintainers] QOF 0.6.1 progress

Just a note to say that I've built a local libqof1 0.6.1-1 deb and tested it
with gnotime 2.2.2-3 (installed via apt-get) and all is fine. No changes seen
compared to previous operation under 0.6.0-2. I'll test the -dev as well
later by building gnotime from source against libqof1-dev 0.6.1-1.

I've got a little more to do in QOF before a 0.6.1 release and I'd expect that
to now be in the first two weeks of the New Year. This will enable the next
release of pilot-qof.

How does that fit in?

The changes from 0.6.0 are not particularly large but if anyone wants to look
at the test packages at this stage, let me know and I can update my trivial
apt repository.

Current QOF CVS reflects 95% of the changes going into 0.6.1 and remaining
changes are expected to be only within the QSF backend - libqof-backend-qsf.

In line with libtool versioning, the libraries within QOF have had their
revision incremented locally:

libqof.so.1.0.2
libqof-backend-qsf.so.0.0.1

The increment settings will be committed to CVS later.

Built: libqof1_0.6.1_i386.deb 119K
libqof1-dbg_0.6.1_i386.deb 194K
libqof-dev_0.6.1_i386.deb 205K

Changes:
 qof (0.6.1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * New upstream release

Both main packages (libqof1 and -dev) are lintian clean - the dbg package
produces the expected warning. All three are linda clean.

0.6.1-1 will also include the (working) watch file.

Merry Christmas.
:-)
