No idea. That seems to be the only real problem in 0.1.7 -> 0.1.8 
transition. I'll investigate and test the packages on apache2.

I've consciously made the change in the Makefile.in instead of .am. The 
change is relatively straigtforward (changing .1 to .8), while 
regenerating it from .am will either pull in a bunch of build-deps (if we 
decide to regenerate it on the fly), or bloat the diff (if we'll 
pre-generate the Makefile.in). And regenerating them files is a pain, 
AFAIK.
