Yes, fine with me of course. I also committed a few changes that were
sleeping on my local disk, and set maintainer to the pkg-running group.
Feel free to upload if you wish.

At some point we will probably have yo split off a library package and
a -deb package, but so far I didn't have the nerve to read through the
library packaging guide ...
