I gave it a quick shot, the result is in the git-repo :

git+ssh://git.debian.org/git/pkg-running/python-ant-downloader.git

It compiles and installs (that was easy, thanks to dh_python). The package
description and debian/copyright still need to be filled in, and of course
someone has to check that it actually works ... and maybe write a manpage.
