Just to let you know that I have been working some more on the
qmapcontrol package, mostly in order to make it lintian clean. But I had
also forgotton to put the name of the upstream author (Kai Winter) into
the copyright file.
In order to please lintian the name of the library package had to be
changed to libqmapcontrol0, which will require a corresponding change to
the control file of qtrainer (not yet done).
I have not updated anything in my repository, yet, but await further
comments from you guys.
Finally, I have informed Kai (the upstream author of qmapcontrol) about
my plans to package his software for Debian. I would like to hear from
you, if focussing on the library part is fine, or if we would prefer to
then also have a qmapcontrol-examples (or similar) package, as Kai's
source also can contains demo applications.
/Michael
