Hello,

I'm have mostly packaged CycloGraph 1.8.0 which uses python3 and qt5,
but lintian reports

E privacy-breach-uses-embedded-file

In fact CycloGraph actually uses openlayers, which is present in
debian repositories, but also OpenStreetMap and Google Maps. These
services are clearly recognizable by the overlay on the map. I don't
think this is a privacy breach, it is just a client-server
application.
I could patch the application to use debian distributed openalyers
package, but I don't think this makes any substantial difference for
the user's privacy (Google and OpenStreetMap would still be involved).

The same error is now reported also for 1.7.1.

How should I proceed?

Cheers

Federico
