Hello Federico,

We're now in deep freeze for stretch, which means that packages do not 
transition to testing automatically.

Moreover, new upstream versions and changes not meant to fix RC bugs are 
no longer accepted, in case you'd like to request a freeze exception to 
the release team.

I understand that, indeed, the new upstream version fixes an RC bug, but 
I think the *only the change* fixing the RC bug should be included in 
the new package release. If the new upstream version has other unrelated 
changes, they won't be accepted by the release team.

So, I can certainly upload, but that will also certainly make the fix of 
the RC bug much more difficult to have in testing.
