[Pkg-scicomp-devel] Packaging of "coin-cbc", as addition over glpk and lp-solve

Hello packaging team,

I filed a wishlist bug (#443840) to suggest packaging of the COIN-OR CBC 
solver, which is distributed under the CPL 1.1.

It would make a very nice addition to the light weight glpk and lp-solve 
linear programming solvers.  CBC is very mature, contains decades of 
experience from the IBM operation research team and is probably the best 
open source MIP solver out there.  Please give it a try.
