You are right, I didn't realize this. However, your fix is wrong too
imho - you need to remove my patch,
otherwise something like this will be executed:

python2.5 python2.5 compile_all_pv.py

and this will fail. Simply remove the patch from
debian/patches/series. If it works, we'll remove the patch completely
then.

I am compiling with -j5 on 4 amd64 processors. However, as written in
my other message, it fails on 64bits, so I am first investigating
that.
The python patch problem is minor - my patch works both on i386 and
amd64 in pbuilder. Your solution is more elegant, but we first need to
make paraview build reliably. So I'll check your changes when I fix
the amd64 problem.
