[Pkg-scicomp-devel] introduction, and hpcc upload

Hi,

I am interested in joining pkg-scicomp (well, technically, I already
joined). I'm a postdoc, and will be an assistant professor in Nancy,
France, starting in september. I do research in CS, on HPC and
distributed systems in general.

I've prepared a package for the HPCC benchmarks (already committed to
SVN) and will upload it shortly, setting pkg-scicomp as Uploaders (I do
intend to maintain it, but would not be against a backup).

Are there some specific docs I should read about pkg-scicomp? Do you
hang out in an IRC channel?
