[Pkg-scicomp-devel] Bug#516689: paraview uninstallable

Hello,

I think that this bug should be moved from "Serious" to "Grave", as 
actually its current state makes it uninstallable in most of the 
situations. The package shouldn't have been moved to testing before 
solving the bug.

This should be solved by making it compatible with the python-vtk 
package, as the people interested in using paraview are more likely to 
also be interested in using python-vtk (or other packages depending on 
it, like mayavi) at the same time. For the moment, there are no other 
solution that having install/deinstall cycles in order to use them 
alternatively. It can be noted that because of the conflict, it is 
impossible to install at the same time all the recommended package of 
the metapackage "science-viewing", which impairs its usability.
