Hello maintainer,

I am rejecting syfi for the following reasons.

Please fix the changelog entry to either actually close an ITP bug or remove that syntax.

Several file headers claim LGPL v3 license but COPYING is GPL v2.

A couple of other issues:
doc/man/man1/sfc.1.gz says that the program is LGPL v2.  That should probably get fixed upstream.

doc/papers and doc/presentations contain .pdf files with no "source".  There is still some discussion about whether or not pdf files can be considered source.
