Amusingly,  the file contains these errors also now, FIVE years later :-) At least
there is one on page 27 (xpdf page number) in the beginning of section 3.2.2.

After checking the source package, the source file freefem3dDoc.tex actually contains
see section~\ref{??} so it is unfinished upstream. Btw, the tex-file
includes a nonexisting parameters.tex. Also, the source package contains a large
*.ps file (+ pdf & dvi) that could instead be generated using latex at compile time.

With regard to the citations, I don't believe any bibliographic entries are defined in
the tex-file?
