sponsoring request: snoopy

Hi team,

I've just fixed the FTBFS on GCC-7 for snoopy in our git repository.

I've seen that Marcos had opened an issue ~3 weeks ago [1] and shortly
before that an arch user had created a pull request to fix the
issue [2].

I'm sure upstream will fix the issue eventually, but I'd prefer we fix
this in Debian now so snoopy can re-enter testing.
