Hi Hilko and Samuel,
I did a little bit of QA checking of all team packages and found that
the nmap package could use some additional work. On a quick lock I
found:
* quite a number of lintian warnings, some of which could be fixed
easily
- nmap-dbgsym package does seem to have problems according to
lintian (didn't check yet)
* watch file has a minor syntax error and could check for gpg
signatures of the releases
* nmap has accumulated quite a number of bugs; at least some of them
can be closed by now…
Since nmap is one of the tools I use regularly (although admittedly
only a tiny subset of the available features), I'd like to offer my
help.
If you want my help, I'll start by making some changes to the package
and, once I'm satisfied with that, take a closer look at the open bugs
and start working on them.
Regards
Lukas
