    hello,

I have a logitech quickcam messenger which was working with the old spca5xx
module (under linux 2.6.8 ).
But with the kernel 2.6.18 this quicam don't work at all ( the webcam wasn't
even recognized as usb material)

I try to install the gspca module ( from testing, then unstable) under the
kernel 2.6.21-2-686.
lsusb recognize the webcam, but when I launch an application, such as camorama or
amsn, the appication freeze.
dmesg gives me :
/home/adrien/code/modules/gspca/gspca_core.c: USB GSPCA camera found.(ZC3XX)

I have tried to put a break instruction in the gspca_core.c (cf the patch in
attachment) and
with the patch I can see images, but not very stable (cf in attachment) and
camorama don't freeze.
the dmesg gives me a suite of new errors :
/home/adrien/code/modules/gspca/gspca_core.c: [spca50x_move_data:1577] ISOC data error: [15] len=0, status=-18

I am on Debian Testing with the kernel 2.6.21-2-686 and lsusb gives me for the
webcam :
Bus 003 Device 013: ID 046d:08da Logitech, Inc.

I don't know what I should do in order to use my webcam under linux... Can you
help me please ?

Regards,

Adrien

P.S. : I apologize for my english level ...
