I heard one upstream developer mention it a couple weeks ago - "hey,
look, 0.26 is out" - but nothing since then.  I could look at porting
it myself, but so far I've been too busy with other things.

Sure, I'll do so.  I don't mind backporting neon 0.26 support to 1.3.x
if necessary.  I did exactly that with 0.25 to 1.2.x, a few months ago,
but I didn't commit my patch, since upstream released 1.3.0 well before
we needed to use neon 0.25.

Thanks for the heads-up.  I'll find out what subversion upstream is
doing.
