It's a bit hard to understand your report, but I assume what you mean
is that sun-java5-jre does not provide 'java1-runtime' because it
doesn't support some functionality which was deprecated in Java 2.

I have no idea whether libsvn-javahl works with a pure Java 2 JRE -
should I take your word for it that it does?
