Bug#356894: Swig 1.3.28 and current CVS breaks subversion bindings

If time permits, could you have a look at the subversion compatibility
problem of swig 1.3.28 and 1.3.29? I had the hope that this has gone
away since but I just rebuilt subversion using swig 1.3.29 and the bug 
is still there.

This did work with swig 1.3.25 and is at least an incompatibility
introduced since. As I am learning for my exams I did not really
investigate what's going on here but I have the hopes that you have more 
insight than me.
