[Pkg-symfony-maint] Request for volunteers for symfony packaging

sorry for my non response. I was in vacations and after have many things to do.
I will try to upload phing package today.

Thanks for your work. Just out of curiosity, what is the function of the
patch, after all? :)

Only one more comment, have you thought about assigning the package to
the php section? A quick look at the list of packages at the devel
section in sid [1] shows that there are no php-based packages there,
they are more like "Development utilities, compilers, development
environments, libraries, etc." , while in the php section you can find
"Everything about PHP".

Well, i got the alioth people response and the project is already
approved! Just send a request to join the group from [2] and i'll accept
it. I've created git repositories for symfony1.4, doctrine and phing,
once you join the group you can access them from [3], [4] and [5] for
phing. The current versions for symfony and doctrine (along with the
debian files) are already uploaded, you could upload your phing files to
the (now empty) phing repository. Let me know if you need any help with
this.
